Christmas Card Challenge Week# 50

Hi everyone!

We've made it to week #50 on our way through the year.  Can you believe we're almost done?!  My gosh, where has the year gone.  I'm excited to bring you another Christmas card.  This weeks challenge is shaped cards.  To check out this weeks challenge, click HERE.

I absolutely adore this card!  I wanted to make something really different, and this is definitely different.  The embossed paper, and the leaves, and the center of the flower are all really pretty together.  I went with another Spanish sentiment for a co-worker who asked for something in Spanish.  I'm totally digging this card.

I hope you'll head over to the CCC blog to see what the DT have come up with, and to see who our amazing guest designer is.  I know you'll love her as much as I do!

Have a wonderful day!

Twisted Sketches #33

This is my second post of the day.  Please scrolll down for my Unscripted Sketches project. :)

I love it when I get to share a new Twisted Sketches project.  I know I've only been on the DT for six weeks now, but I'm loving it!  For this weeks sketch challenge, click HERE.  The twist this week is "brad".  Any how, any way.

I'm in LOVE with the rolled flower die from MFT!!  I think I've used it more than anything else in the last few projects.  I just adore how they look, and what they add to my projects.  I added brads to the centers of my flowers for my "twist".  I also flipped the sketch to suit my needs.  I've gone bilingual for this project as I needed a birthday card for another co-worker who speaks zero English.  I think she'll love it (her favorite color is orange). lol

I do hope you'll head over to see what the amazing DT has come up with for you today.  All I can say, is that I'm totally inspired each week.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Unscripted Sketches #81

Hi ya'll!

It's Saturday, and I have another Unscripted Sketches project for you.  For this weeks sketch, click HERE.

Yep, it's those two lovebirds again.  Are you sick of seeing them yet?  No?  Me either! lol  I have tons more layouts to finish, so you'll be seeing more of them.  I really like the way this turned out.  The papers are really pretty, and I love the pennant on the top left.  I'm a bit disappointed that you can't really see the alpha stickers as well as I'd hoped, but all in all it's beautiful either way.

I hope you'll head over to the US blog to see what everyone has created for you today.  They're fabulous, as always!

Christmas Card Challenge Week #49

Hey everyone!

As you're reading this, I am celebrating my 35th birthday, amongst some of my favorite people.  Cherie (owner of Scrappers Boutique) was kind enough to open the store for a private crop.  I'm SO excited, and can't wait to spend the day with Susan, Jen, Joni, Adair, Taj, Lynn, Cherie, Nita, Angie, and Denise.  I'm always so inspired by these wonderfully talented ladies, and I'm lucky to be able to spend the day with them without having to work.  Maybe I'll get some super mojo for my birthday! :)

This post is going to be short, sorry folks.  For this weeks Christmas Card challenge, click HERE.

Not sure I achieved the look I was going for, but it's definitely a Christmas card.  I hope you'll head over to the CCC blog to see what my friends have created for you today.  We have another great guest too!

Unscripted Sketches #80

Hi ya'll!

How is your weekend so far?  Are you doing anything fun and exciting?  I'm headed to Scrappers Boutique  later for Boutique Day.  I can't wait to meet all of the wonderful people who are going to stop in, and I get to hang out with some of the most talented women I know.  Not too shabby for a Saturday.  :)

Of course, Saturday brings us another Unscripted Sketches project too.  For this weeks sketch, click HERE.

Now, I normally don't do this, but I left this card without a sentiment, on purpose.  I couldn't figure out what I wanted to use it for, after it was done, so I just left it blank, for the time being.  Have any of you done this before?  I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to do, so I left it.  I really like how it turned out though. :)

I hope you'll head over to the US blog to see what fabulous projects are posted today.  They're always amazing, but this week we have an extra twist by one of the designers.  Go check it out!
